Encina yearbooks

This section will contain information on Encina yearbooks.

The Encina Yearbook Project has been a multiyear effort between Encina and the alumni to put ALL of the Encina yearbooks online. Encina loaned us many of the yearbooks from their archives for scanning. We would especially like to thank Heddy Crowder and Myrtle Berry for helping us with this project.

At the end of the 2003 school year, all but the oversized yearbooks were online. In 2004, generous alumni funded the purchase of a Microtek 9800XL tabloid scanner so that we were able to scan in the remaining oversized yearbooks. We hope that all of the yearbooks will be online by the end of the 2004 schoolyear.

Yearbooks:

1960-63: donated by Marilyn Banyai Brown '63 (thank you!)
1968: donated by David Jensen Del Valle '69 (thank you!)
1969: donated by Karen Elledge '74 (thank you)
1970-73: personal yearbooks
1981: donated by Christy Clark '82
1982-2001: personal yearbooks purchased from Encina

In addition, Encina donated almost a complete set of unmarked yearbooks from their archives for the use of the website. Former principal Jack Bassett loaned his set of yearbooks to the alumni website for use as a reference and for scanning.

If you have yearbooks which you no longer need or want, please contact the webmaster. We may be able to use them as references or can find a new home for them as their are many alumni who do not have yearbooks.
