Robyn Gentle writes:
Occupation: Associate Trainer
Bio: I moved to Phoenix two years ago to pursue a career in training and
developement. I am currently working for ADP, the payroll company,
and
have decided to become a middle school teacher. I am going through the
process of obtaining my teaching certificate and have decided to
leave
ADP in pursuit of this goal.
Friends: Lisa Faseler and various others. I have lost contact with
most, except for Lisa. Unfortunatly, there have been a couple of
"wierd" experiences involving a few of our better known classmates
within the last 5 years or so.
Hobbies: Currently, I am a grad student and have been in school for most
of my adult life. I guess school would be one of my hobbies along
with
reading, writing, and enjoying the awesome summers in Arizona.
Kids: Chelsea, age 13 and Maci, age 11. I have two
beautiful daughters, both in middle school who, unlike their
mother, are both gifted academically.
Grade_school: Sequoia
Grade_school_friends: Lisa Faseler
Junior_high: Albert Einstein
Memorable_teachers: Mr Fig as he called me Robyn
Genital. He was the best. Ms. Lord as she
was facinating and made World History an
interesting subject.
Favorite_memory: Crashing through Michelle and Danny Amyott's neighbor's
back yard in an old 50's truck that had no
brakes. Jerry Huth teaching me how to drive in
the wee hours of the morning.

Damon Cutty writes:
Occupation: Mortgage Consultant
Bio: Since graduating I married, went through a bitter divorce and
custody battle. I relocated to san diego and went to work for my
father in the mortgage business, selling money.
It's got to be the most rewarding job, both from a
financial standpoint as well as the gratification
you get making the dream of homeownership a reality. After
living in S.D. for 5 years I moved to Bossier City, Louisiana to be
close to my son(Devin, that's where the ex is from) and went to work
for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I met my beautiful
wife through a couple that I had closed a loan
for. Her name is Suzanne and she's the greatest, I
never in my life thought I'd be this happy. I guess Gods got a plan for
us all and sometimes you have to crawl through crap to get to the
good stuff. We've been married now for 2 years
this past November and are preggy with a boy due
in the later part of May. I was so scared to have
another child at my age and all, but since finding out I've become very
excited.
Friends: I was such good friends with so many people, far too many to
list. As far as who I've lost contact with, that would be everybody
with the exception of Charlie Baumert, his wife
JoAnn, Byron Gonzales, Geoff Shumway, Eric
Sorenson, Chris Keister(on occaision) and I used to talk
back and fourth with Bryon Huerta. If any of my buddies(that includes
the ladies) are out there that I did not list, call me or shoot an
email my way.
Hobbies: I enjoy lifting weights and I stay heavily involved in my sons
school functions, sports etc..
Kids: Devin age 11 and 1 on the way(another stinky boy)his name will be
Bleu
My son Devin is my heart, he's what has kept me going in the toughest
times of my life. He turned 11 in November of 2006 and is in the 5th
grade at St. Johns Catholic School. The boy keeps me on my toes, I
never imagined I'd be saying the same things to
him my parents said to me growing up. I enrolled
him at St. Johns his 4th grade year, because the
Louisiana public school system is terrible. That year was tough on all
of us as he struggled to catch up to the rest of his peers. This year
he's on track doing much better, earning A's, B's and a couple C's. I
don't tolerate anything less. He plays soccer and baseball, but
love's soccer and plays all year long.
Grade_school: Thomas Edison
Grade_school_friends: Too many to list, they know who they are.
Junior_high: Jonas Salk
Junior_high_friends: Too many to list." ".
Memorable_teachers: Eric Dahlin- Ceramics He was so cool and seemed to
understand young men and women, and the challenges of what highschool
offered.
Mrs. McGuire- English I loved to listen to her when she read to the
class. She got so involved in the story and her voice and demeanor
would
change as the story changed. I don't know she was kind of eccentric.
Favorite_memory: The parties, hanging with my friends. I miss all of you
and would not change a thing about my 4 years. Well maybe a couple
things.
Story: Yeah, but I don't know if the language or material is
appropriate. I'll keep those for myself.

Occupation: Information Systems Analyst - State of CA
Bio: Trying to decide "what to be when I grow up", man that's a tough
one, but I finally figured it out. I am going back to
school...finally, to get a degree in
Architecture. I have always enjoyed designing homes
and floor plans, so I figured I might as well get paid (well) to do
what I enjoy. Until then, I'll keep up the
computer gig with the state (your tax dollars hard
at work!) :)
Trivia: I would have never guessed that I would buy a house, completely
gut it and then put it all back together again! I did and it will
soon get a nice addition...that one will be done
by someone else.
Friends: Lots of Great Friends...Glen Fanning, Randy Onstine, Abe
Fuentes, Tawatchi Kodsuntie (TK), Dave Francis, Larry Lane, Rachel
Martasian (Daddigan), Janice Barnes, Peggy Crans...the list just goes
on and on! I see Rachel every now and then, we
live pretty close to each other and our parents
are still neighbors, I talk to Glen sometimes and
I cross pathes with others here and there. I'd like to hear from anyone
out there that would like to call or email and say "Hey!"
Hobbies: We love cycling with our kids, going on short trips, two girls
in gymnastics is always a sight. I like golfing (when I can make
time), bowling and drafting.
Kids: Meagan - Almost 10, Emily - 6. Two great
little girls (one is becoming a young lady in front of my
eyes), but I won't admint to that. Smart and full of P&V as my
mother-in-law always said. They're great kids and we all have a lot
of fun.
Grade_school: K-4 @ Winterstein and 5th-6th @ Cottage. Good times,
except for being forced to change schools in 5th grade.
Grade_school_friends: Glen, Rachel, Nancy Reid, others that I'm
forgetting, I am sure!
Junior_high: Wow! What a different experience; Jonas Salk and more new
friends.
Junior_high_friends: Randy Onstine, Abe Fuentes, Toney Woods (graduated
from BV, he always says to tell anyone that he knew "hello".)
Memorable_teachers: Mr. Fig was great, what a weird sense of humor, but
funny as hell! Mrs.(Senora) Kojima - she was just a nice person that
wanted everyone in her classes to do well and enjoy the experience and
Mr. Estes for keeping it all real.
Favorite_memory: I can't really pull any one memory as a favorite, there
were so many good times, it seems like just a short time ago, but
it's been almost 20 years.
Story: I just want to say...Damn Shannon, you really go on and on, don't
you! ;-P Just kidding! I hope to hear from all of you soon!

Shannon Bice writes:
Kids: My husband and I had a little boy in September of 2005. Big sister
is thrilled and we are truly blessed!
1/21/06
Occupation: Office Administrator - Contracting Firm
Bio: Since graduation, I have lived the life of a 40 year old woman. I took a couple
fo years off to goof off then enrolled in city college. I could not seem to find a
niche for myself there, so I explored the option of just working and focusing on life in
general. In September of 1992 I married the first time and left him only after 5
months. I tell ya, this man had "LOSER" written all over his forhead, but
I just could not read it at the time. A few months later I met a gentleman and
married him in September of 1994. This marriage lasted 4 1/2 years. He gave me
a beautiful daughter named Sammie and is an exact replica of me. I am now getting
married for the FINAL TIME (I know, some of you are saying yikes) - It just takes some of
us a little longer to find the right person. I'll be getting married April 29th of
this year and my new name will be Shannon Sandman (ha, ha). I will also be a military wife
as well. I must say that this is the happiest I have ever been in my life.
Anyways, more boring details - I graduated from college in 1999 with a BS degree in
Criminal Justice (finally!). My fiance' and I moved to Colfax in October of 2000 and
now live in the beautiful motherlode area with great views and a beautiful home to fill
with family. I have worked for past few years for my father as an office
administrator who is a contractor. He retires in about 5 years and I will be taking
over the business. I never would imagine the I would be owning my own business.
This is the niche I have been longing to find.
Trivia: I once entered a babe contest at a brewery to become a "representative"
for their new beer. I must say, I was the only girl there with an IQ and could put
more than 5 words together to form a sentence. Come to find out, all the other girls
who entered where all strippers! No, I didn't win, but this was the most
embarrassing moment of my life for sure!
Friends: Vanessa Williams (Habkrik), Robin Gentle (Shill, where are you?), Sanceree Pruitt
(Thompson?), Aaron Tello (Hutchinson), Jeremy Peters, Gerry Huth, Mike Francis (I finally
found you!) and and of course Glenn Fanning, Steve Smith, and many others.
Hobbies: I love to spend time with my daughter Sammie as well as work out at the gym, snow
skiing, camping, cooking and traveling as much as possible.
Kids: My daughter Sammie is 6 years old and is the greatest thing that has ever happened
to me. She has a very old soul. I have no need for a dictionary nor an
encyclopedia anymore, because she seems to know it all. I call her Miss
"Matter-of-Fact". She goes to elementary school in Auburn where I work and
is the happiest kid you have ever seen. She is an exact replica of me when I was
little, my mom says GOD is getting me back...
Grade_school: Quincy Elementary School - up in redneck country , not around here.
Grade_school_friends: Did not attend grade school in Sacramento. Quincy Elementary School
- up in redneck country , not around here.
Junior_high: Same as above.
Junior_high_friends: Same as above.
Memorable_teachers: My most memorable teacher was Mrs. Tak. She is an incredible
woman who sparked my brain when I needed it. She made me think and think and think.
I loved her teaching style, she was tough, but she always made sense.
Favorite_memory: The famous football game our senior year at Galt High School, when most
of the football team, cheerleaders and songleaders got food poisoning from the dinner meal
they served us before the game. I remember Jeremy Peters and I being so
sick...Remember? Oh yes, Jeremy having a little too much to drink on Halloween our senior
year and having to get him out of the women's bathroom at Carl's Jr. I know you
remember that one Jeremy!
Story: When I went to the 10 year reunion, I did not know what to expect, like everyone
else. I must say that every single person there looked fantastic and I very
impressed with how well everyone is doing. Eddie - no, I am not a at- home-mother, I
would drive myself nuts! But I give a lot of credit to those who can do it and
maintain sanity. I admire those ladies the most!
Alumni_in_contact: Vanessa Williams (Habkirk), Vanessa Richey (Nichols), Aaron Tello

Just last month (August, 2005) we decided to leave the city and move out

over the entire gym. We all watched in awe. I had never seen anything like
it before. I was lucky enough to be on the Drill Team my Jr. and Sr. year.
It was pretty special. I also had a blast in student government. It was
really cool to have a class with people from all four grades. It felt good
to help out. Auto Shop was the greatest class. I wish I could have taken it
for two years. My partner was Jared Raskin. I wonder how he's doing.

Grade_school: In Portland Oregon....so who cares right?
Junior_high: Jonas Salk for the last part of 7th grade and all of 8th.
Sucked being the new kid at school towards the end of the year. Being the
only long haired, rocker with the Oregonian "hippee" way of life didn't help
much either.
Junior_high_friends: Dan and Michele Amyot where my best friends by far.
Glenn Fanning and Mitch Galbrieth became pretty darn good friends too.
Memorable_teachers: Mr. Tracy...had quite a few conversations with him. Sad
ending to his life.
Favorite_memory: Waaaaaay too many to list. I'm sure Mike was there for most
of them. Many road trips and everything that came with them in
Sherman. Footballl games (yeah we sucked, but a school of 800 against
schools of 2000+ was a tough challenge...plus battling on the field, getting
hit, hitting and giving all you had out there was something I am happy to
have been able to do), Basketball games, Wrestling matches, SF and
everywhere else and all that came with the trips. Cruising the Caddy was a
blast too. Lots of good times and memories, with lost of great people.

My Life Biography
For all of you who actually remember me, I had my son in May 1987 so I only
went to Encina High school with you for ninth grade, 1986. I did get my
G.E.D and I now work for the county. I have one son who is 14 years old. The
1989 Encina class would have been my graduating class and I would love to
hear from those of you who knew me. By the way heavy metal now gives me a
head ache! :0)

Quiet Student Is Now Teacher's Pet
Introducing: Amber Witt and Randy Onstine. Amber is the
daughter of Mickey and Sue Witt of Roseville and Cal and Luana Wheeler of Vacaville. A
graduate of Placer High School in Auburn who attends California State University,
Sacramento, she is a certified nursing assistant at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
Randy is the son of Gene and Kay Onstine of Sacramento. A graduate of Encina
High School in Sacramento, he is a mechanic for Federal Express. How they met: When Amber
taught an adult Sunday school class at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in
Sacramento, Randy was one of her students. Amber's friend, who knew Randy, suggested they
all get together so Amber could get to know her student better. Amber and Randy became
good friends quickly and remained so for about a year. However, Amber says a romantic
relationship was the furthest thing from her mind. "I was too busy for a
relationship" Amber says.
First date: The friendship took a romantic turn when Amber and Randy went to
see a movie and out for ice cream. Amber describes Randy's actions throughout their date
as "ultra-nice."
"That's when you say there's something wrong with this picture,"
she says, chuckling. Nevertheless, Amber says their first date was when she really saw all
Randy's terrific qualities. While he was always attentive in her class, he hardly
participated in discussions. But when they were alone together, she saw the type of person
he really was. Amber says she admired the fact that he was intelligent, but did not feel
he had to show it. In addition, she loved his animation when he told jokes. She says she
never realized what an incredible sense of humor he had.
"Who has the guts to tell stupid jokes and risk other people's
reactions?" she asks. By the end of the evening, Amber knew Randy was her type of
guy. But she says she did not believe he would call again. He did, and three months later
they were planning a wedding.
On bended knee: Amber says that her proposal from Randy was kind of
backwards. "We had planned half the wedding before the rings arrived," she says.
When Amber called Randy at work to let him know their wedding invitations had been
delivered, Randy's boss answered the phone and told her that Randy had left to pick up her
engagement ring.
"I was so disappointed because that was the one thing I wanted to be
surprised about," she says.
They met at her home after work. He was wearing a jacket she had given him
and "I could see the bulge of the box in his pocket," she says, laughing. They
settled on the couch and Randy asked her if she thought the invitations were the only
things that came that day. Amber says she played dumb. "It sucked because I totally
knew," she says. "I asked, 'what do you mean?"' He took the ring out of his
pocket and started to cry. "He's very sensitive," Amber says.
The big day: On Feb. 26, 2000, Amber and Randy were married at the Oakland
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in front of 250 friends and family members. A
reception followed at Roseville's Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Time to kick back and relax: Amber and Randy spent a week at Point Arena for their
honeymoon. Amber says they spent quiet time together sightseeing and taking walks. They
also ate at nearly every restaurant around. "We just vegged," she says.
Home Sweet Home: Amber and Randy live in Sacramento.

Aaron Paulus writes:
Occupation: Security Account Manager
Bio: From graduation to present time, I have done a full tour of duty in the United States
Marine Corp. The Corp. was fun
and very demanding, but with hard work, I made it. In 1992 I meet, then married my wife
Laura, and then in 1993 my wife
and I had a happy, healthy, baby boy who's name is Eric. I had worked for 3.5 years with
Pinkerton Security Services as a Field Supervisor. There was plenty of action with
Pinkerton, dealing with domestics, arrests, fights, weapons, but the pay
"sucked". So I moved on to my present job and am now working for Guardsmark
Security Services as a Security Account
Manager. The pay is way better, about three (3) times better than it was with Pinkerton,
and the nice thing about it, is that
I do not have to deal with as much action, as I do with paperwork. I am trying to get on
with several local law enforcment
agincies, right now I am in "stand by mode".
Friends: Some of my good friends were Mr. Brian Knoff, Mr. Doug Zamboni, Mr. Chris Van
Duker.
I have been recently re-connected with both Brian & Chris, but not Doug, "I am
looking for you Zamboni"!
Hobbies: I like to work on my home computer, play Sony Play Station, bike ride, working
out at the gym, taking long drives in the car.
Kids: My son Eric is 7 years old, he is approx 44 in - 45in tall, weighing in a 65 LBS.
Brown eyes, Brown hair, everyone who see's him say that he look like his Daddy. He is very
active, both with body and imagination. He is creative and very cunning.
My wife Laura is currenlty home schooling our son, as the fact that Sacramento's public
schools are not making the grade,
"in my book". He is doing very well in his leasons, and he will "talk your
ear off", if you let him.
Grade_school: Saint Helena Elementry School
Junior_high: Robert Louis Stevenson Jr. High School
Memorable_teachers: Mr. Sam Burger, my choir teacher, everyday Mr. Burger went the extra
mile with us! He had a very good grasp of his art, and had the ability to teach it well.
He would inspire the group or myself to belive that we can do anything that we set our
hearts on. There of course were the bad days, when the choir would not be singing from the
same sheet of music, but there were good days, when everyting would click, on those
days "stay out of our way, for the volume alone will knock you down." I
miss Mr. Burger, "wonder what became of him"?
Favorite_memory: Being on the golf team, learning a sport back then, that I would master
today! I remember one of my team mates, Mr. Doug Zamboni and his monster golf
swings, that guy could place the ball on the course, where ever he wanted it! This
"pissed me off", at the time, for I was struggling to do good, and here was a
guy, that without effort, played like a Pro. "I'm ready for you now Doug"!
