Alumni challenge Pledges and RSVPs
PLEDGES
"Let’s make the game a bit more challenging this year.
In past years all the pledges have come from the Alumni. This year I challenge
the student body of Encina High to go out and get pledges for the student
points. The pledges can come from anyone; their parents, teachers, the kids
themselves, club fund raisers, and community businesses, anyone but the alumni.
I will match dollar for dollar all funds pledge by the student body for student
points up to $10,000. In addition I will match $.50 to the dollar for all alumni
pledges up to $10,000 for a total match of $5000. So if the students and the
alumni both meet my challenge the total for the fund raiser would be $35,000.
